Southern Football: Day 1 Practice
The Southern Jaguars hit the practice fields for the first time this season and it couldn't have gone much better according to head coach Dawson Odums.
The Jaguars are coming off a 4-5 season, however there's optimism on the Bluff after Odums was hired as the full time head coach before the spring.
Southern returns starting quarterback Dray Joseph as well as top wide receiver Lee Doss.
However, much of the excitement surrounding the offense is about running back Lenard Tillery, a former McKinley high school back who's speed and shifty running style has people talking.
