Southern defends Monday's 104-point win
BATON ROUGE - Southern basketball woke up today to criticism from several national media outlets questioning why the Jaguars scheduled, then beat Champion Baptist College by 104 points Monday night.
Some of that criticism even came from CBC's own head coach Eric Capaci, who questioned why Southern would keep pressing and scoring late into a game they once held a 44-0 advantage(an NCAA record).
Jags head coach Roman Banks defended his team's strategy after the game.
