Thursday night is made for upsets, and tonight college football in the SEC delivered.  The fourth ranked Ole Miss Rebels could not get their offense going, and the South Carolina Gamecock defense was the main reason.

Steve Spurrier and his Gamecock club upset the Rebels 16-10 in Columbia, SC Thursday night shaking up the Top 5 in college football and the SEC race.

Ole Miss quarterback Jevan Snead finished 7 of 21 for 107 yards and a touchdown, however he couldn't keep his offense on the field.  The Rebel offense finished the night 1 of 13 on 3rd down conversions, unable to string scoring drives together against a blistering South Carolina pass rush.
