Source: Saints, linebacker Haralson agree on 1-year deal
NEW ORLEANS - A person familiar with the situation says the New Orleans Saints and veteran linebacker Parys Haralson have agreed on a one-year contract.
The person spoke to The Associated Press Thursday on condition of anonymity on Thursday because the deal has not been announced. The person did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
The 6-foot, 255-pound Haralson played in all 16 games for New Orleans last season, starting 12, and was credited with 35 solo or assisted tackles, including three sacks and six tackles for losses. He also recovered a fumble.
The 31-year-old Haralson has played eight seasons in the NFL, his first six with San Francisco and the past two with the Saints.
His latest contract agreement with New Orleans was first reported by Yahoo.
