BATON ROUGE - Sources tell WBRZ that former Baltimore Ravens Offensive Coordinator Cam Cameron has been hired as the new offensive coordinator for LSU.

WBRZ Sports Director Michael Cauble confirmed the hire through an LSU school official. The university is expected to make the official announcement next week.

Cameron has not yet signed the contract to solidify the move.

It's unknown at this time how it will affect current offensive coordinator Greg Studrawa or quarterbacks coach Steve Kragthorpe.

Cameron installed the offense run by the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, but was fired by the team late in the season.

LSU head coach Les Miles and Cameron have been close friends for years.
