Some SU System employees to get bonus
BATON ROUGE - Southern University System representatives said many system employees would receive a bonus with their upcoming paycheck.
The System Board of Supervisors approved the bonus for eligible employees at the SU System Office, Baton Rouge and Shreveport campuses.
The system said classified employees would see a bonus equal to 4 percent of their salary, topping out at $1,000. Eligible unclassified and faculty employees would receive $1,000.
They said the bonuses would be direct deposited into eligible employees' accounts with the Dec. 20 payroll.
