We continue to have mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers this morning. It is mild and muggy with temperatures in the 60s.
The stalled cold front will slowly move to the east of Louisiana today. This means we will still have scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms around the Baton Rouge area. Some of the rain could be heavy at times, and we could pick up an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain mainly south of I-10. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the Parishes south of I-10 for today since they already picked up a few inches of rain since yesterday. We will have mild high temperatures in the mid 70s.
The rain will come to an end this evening, and then we will be left with partly to mostly cloudy skies overnight. It will turn cooler behind the front with lows in the upper 50s.
