WASHINGTON - Almost two weeks after the shooting deaths of 17 Afghan civilians, a U.S. soldier will be charged with murder and other counts today. Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales is expected to be read the charges today at the military prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. His attorney says the government will have a difficult time proving the case against Bales due to a lack of evidence such as fingerprints.
