New England prepares for a blizzard and Sochi prepares for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Not far from the Chechnya border, Sochi was known for its spas and palm trees and a hotbed of Islamic terrorists. Presently, villages adjacent to the Park, have no gas, no plumbing and little power. NBC Nightly News reports that the locals have questioned the selection that has one main road and no winter resort. At $ 51 Billion, the most expensive in Olympic history, Sochi has been converted into an Olympic Park with ice rinks and bookings for international events. Thirty miles north of Sochi, construction is completed on sky jumps and Alpine runs. Game success depends on the weather and Premier Vladimir Putin has ordered the stockpiling and storage of mountains of snow
