Snarled traffic ruins Friday commute
BATON ROUGE- Getting around town Friday has not been easy since multiple traffic issues caused serious issues on highways and interstates.
On I-10, a wreck stopped traffic on both east and westbound lanes at Perkins Road. Traffic was clogged in all directions; over the river into Port Allen in the western direction and as far back as Essen on the east side.
On surface streets, Old Hammond Highway was closed for the morning due to a building fire. It was closed between Airline and Tara. Click HERE for more on the fire.
