Small plane crashes in Braithwaite, no injuries
BRAITHWAITE - The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office says a small seaplane crashed in Braithwaite and no one was injured.
Sheriff's office spokesman, Eric Becnel, says a Cessna 206 on floats lost engine power on takeoff Wednesday morning, clipped some electrical lines and crashed into the water.
He says four people on board got out safely.
The plane is registered to Southern Seaplane Inc. in Belle Chasse.
Becnel says the Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
