Small group gathers for prayer amid violence
BAKER - With heads bowed and hands joined a small group of people gathered Wednesday morning at Memory Park in prayer.
The prayer vigil was held to take a stand against violence.
This come nearly two weeks after three teens were gunned down inside a party at the Baker Civic Club. Another teen was also shot and is recovering.
City and community leaders have been in talks since the murders to come up with a plan to prevent senseless tragedies like that from happening.
Possible solutions on the table, security requirements for private venues and a change in curfew for minors.
