SLU quarterback invited to Shrine game
HAMMOND - Southeastern Louisiana University quarterback Nathan Stanley has been invited to participate in the 88th annual East-West Shrine game.
The college all-star game will be played Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. CST at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Stanley will be one of four quarterbacks on the East team, coached by Jerry Glanville. He will split time with Louisiana Tech's Colby Cameron as well as Collin Klein of Kansas State and Sean Renfree of Duke.
