Slidell PD: Bucket-headed burglar caught
SLIDELL - Police arrested a man they said robbed the Slidell restaurant he used to work at, and used a bucket as his disguise.
Slidell Police arrested Richard Boudreaux, 23, today after they said he confessed to robbing Kenney's Seafood overnight.
Police said Boudreaux used a bucket at the restaurant to cover his face from security cameras, but one caught enough of a glimpse for detectives to identify him. They said he took money from the cash register, and tried but failed to break into the pawn shop next door.
Investigators said Boudreaux told them he robbed the restaurant because of "bad blood" between him and the owner.
Police said while at Boudreaux's residence they also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and booked him on those charges as well.
