Sleigh ride of temperatures; Chilly for Christmas
We're finished with the rain for a few days and the chilly air arrives just in time for Christmas! It's perfect timing considering we've been so warm for the entire month of December but this gift from Mother Nature won't last long. We warm up to the upper 60's by Friday, and showers return by the weekend. Another cool shot of air moves in after that.
Temperatures will only reach about 56 degrees tonight with a few clouds but mostly sunny skies. Overnight we cool down to 34 with clear skies. A light freeze can't be ruled out for areas north of I-10/12. Tomorrow, temperatures only reach the mid 50's again. Expect 68 by Friday with a few spotty showers.
