GROSSE TETE - A group of men are on the run after they used a sledgehammer and crowbar to bust into a pharmacy.

"We know there's at least three maybe four people involved in this case, and we think that's the kind of information that you could help us with. People maybe talking about what happened at this store," Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi said.

The crooks broke surveillance cameras, and one man got in through a man-made hole in the back wall.

Deputies believe the men were looking for pain killers and other drugs to sell on the streets.

But since the business was broken into twice recently, the owner put those drugs in a vault.

The crooks left with nothing, Stassi said. But they caused an estimated $1500 in damage.

Deputies do not have any leads on this case.

If you have information about the break-in, call IPSO deputies at 225-687-5100.
