Slave labor charges
CLEVELAND, OHIO- Three people in Ohio are charged with enslaving a mother and daughter who are mentally disabled. Authorities say for two years the trio forced the women to do housework and fed their pets better than the mother and daughter. Police and federal agents also say the three threatened the women with violence. The name of the mother and daughter were not disclosed. Police say they discovered the situation when they went to the apartment of one of the accused enslavers, who claimed the woman abused her child. The three are charged with forced labor.
