SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - An elite skydiver who has jumped in several movies, including "Ironman 3," plans to take the ultimate plunge – but this time without a parachute.

Luke Aikins plans to jump out of an airplane at 25,000 feet over Simi Valley, California with nothing but the clothes on his back and without a wingsuit.

Aikins plans to become the first skydiver to land safely in a net after two minutes of freefall.

The attempt will be aired live at 7 p.m. on a special called "Heaven Sent" on Fox.
