A 17-year-old in Baton Rouge who was sought in a string of television thefts from a local college has surrendered to police.

Ed Pratt with Southern University said that Donovan Burrell was arrested by Baton Rouge Police Monday night. He was the sixth person sought in the theft of more than a dozen televisions from the school's football stadium in 2009 and 2010; two adults and three juveniles had been arrested earlier Monday.

Burrell was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail in suspicion of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property.

Pratt said the investigation is still ongoing, and there are likely to be more arrests soon.
