Shreveport girl struck by a stray bullet
SHREVEPORT - An 8-year-old girl was struck by a bullet as she slept inside of her Shreveport.
The Times reports the shooting happened late Monday night. Police say the girl was in the bed when she was struck by a bullet.
Police say the bullet struck the victim in the leg and she was taken to LSU Hospital with injuries police describe as non-life threatening.
Witnesses told police an unidentified man fired multiple shots toward the home and ran. Police do not have any suspects at the time.
