SHREVEPORT- Shreveport contractor has been arrested after law enforcement officers reportedly found large quantities of suspected marijuana and other illegal drugs on his property.

The Times reports authorities say a search of Billy Gale Keckler's home on Tuesday led to the discovery of an estimated 12 pounds of marijuana beneath a chicken coop. Agents also reportedly found more than $160,000 hidden in a PVC pipe beneath the coop.

The joint task force of Shreveport and Caddo narcotics agents spent 12 hours combing the property.

Keckler was booked with several drug charges and illegal possession of stolen firearms.

It was unclear whether Keckler has an attorney.
