A cold front will pass through the area today. Expect temperatures to rise into the middle 60s due to southerly winds pulling in warm air ahead of the frontal passage. Periods of rain will continue through much of the day. Look for the showers to wrap up from west to east around 5pm. A thunderstorm can't be ruled out, but nothing should reach severe limits. The front will slowly clear the area tonight, and as it does we clear out and begin to cool down.
During the day Tuesday, the front will move farther and farther east pulling any lingering cloud cover with it. At this time, dry and mainly sunny weather is projected through the week with temperatures at or just below average.
