Showers and thunderstorms will continue into the early evening with isolated brief severity possible, though storms will have less intensity as the sun goes down. Overnight showers are not out of the question.

Saturday should be another warm and muggy day with isolated showers in the afternoon and some thunderstorms, strong to severe beginning in the mid afternoon until a cold front passes in the late evening.
