We will have scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms this afternoon across Southeast Louisiana. Some of the rain could be heavy at times and winds could gust to 40 mph with a few of the storms. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s.
The rain and storms will continue this evening, and the rain could still be heavy at times. Temperatures will be falling into the 70s.
The rain will taper off to a few lingering showers tonight with mostly cloudy skies. It will be warm and muggy with lows in the upper 60s.
