We have mostly cloudy skies with a few showers popping up this morning across the viewing area. It is warm and muggy with temperatures in the 70s.

The showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread during the afternoon. A few storms could become strong with heavy rain and gusty winds to 40 mph. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s.

The rain will slowly taper off this evening and we will be left with some lingering showers overnight under mostly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the upper 60s.
