We will start to see our weather change beginning this afternoon. A strong cold front and series of upper-level disturbances will be heading into the Southeast U.S. today. Baton Rouge will still be south of this front, but we will be close enough to have isolated to scattered showers and storms popping up with the daytime heating. Otherwise, we will have a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures in the upper 80s.
The showers and a few storms will continue into the evening hours. Temperatures will fall into the lower 80s.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with spotty showers. It will stay warm and muggy with lows in the upper 60s.
