Shopping cart drowning
CARTERSVILLE, GEORGIA- A graduation day game turned tragic when an 18-year-old who was tied to a shopping cart was shoved into a lake.
Chance Warner died in Lake Alatoona, about 35-miles northwest of Atlanta just hours after he graduated.
His body was found in about 30-feet of water still tied to the shopping cart.
Authorities say it was part of a game where participants sat in a shopping cart that was tied to a pole.
Others pushed the cart to the end of a dock so the person in the cart would be flung into the water.
The cart was tied to Werner instead of the pole and it pulled him under.
