Shooting victim found in cemetery identified
BATON ROUGE - The shooting victim whose body was found in a Baton Rouge cemetery has been identified by authorities.
Today police said the victim is 38-year-old George Dyson, and he lived at the North Ardenwood Apartments.
Dyson's body was found in a corner of Gilbert's Memorial Cemetery by a visitor Wednesday morning. Investigators said he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the upper torso, and had been left there recently.
