Shooting victim dies after taken off life support
BATON ROUGE - A 23-year-old Baton Rouge man shot last weekend has now died.
Danjae Parker of 4812 Monarch was taken off life support this morning around 8:30am.
Parker was shot in the head while sitting in the passenger seat of a car while at a stop sign on Oaklan Drive and Beechwood Drive on Saturday, May 5th shortly after 10pm.
An unidentified man with him was also shot in his upper body; he drove himself and Parker to the Earl K Long Hospital. His condition is not known.
The shooting is still under investigation.
