BATON ROUGE- A man is on the run after allegedly trying to kill a man.

Last weekend officers stopped a vehicle that was speeding toward them, the driver told police he was being shot at near I-110 at Fuqua Street. The driver was not injured.

Baton Rouge Police are looking for the suspect, 25-year-old Chauncey "Shroom" Jackson. He's wanted for attempted first degree murder, according to investigators.

Anyone with information on Jackson's whereabouts should contact police at 225-389-4869.
