PORT ALLEN - Police are investigating a shooting overnight outside of a Port Allen club.

Shots were fired just before midnight Sunday outside of Club MVP on N. Alexander Avenue.

A bullet hit one man, who was taken to a local hospital. He is expected to survive.

Officers say the shooting started with an altercation outside of the club.

No arrests have been made. If you have any information, call police.
