BATON ROUGE - Officials are responding to a reported shooting at a car wash that occurred Sunday evening.

The incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of North Ardenwood Drive near Greenwell Springs Road. At the scene, authorities found a 42-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries were not immediately released.

The investigation is ongoing.
