Sheriff's deputy accused of stalking, fired
A West Feliciana Parish sheriff's deputy has been fired after being arrested for allegedly stalking a
man he believed was seeing his wife.
Authorities say 48-year-old Robert Wayne Stogner of St. Francisville tried to contact the man at his place of employment, Georgia Pacific's Port Hudson mill.
East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies arrested Stogner and booked him on one count each of stalking and aggravated assault.
As a result of his arrest, West Feliciana Parish Sheriff J. Austin Daniel fired Stogner.
