ASSUMPTION PARISH- The manager of the Gator Gold Casino in Belle Rose, told sheriff's deputies she caught her assistant manager stealing cash from the casino safe, red handed.

44 year old Karen Aucion was seen on security camera taking approximately $2,000.

Assumption deputies say when they questioned her, she "fessed up" and told them "she had financial problems at home and had taken the money to go to several other casinos in hopes of winning enough money to pay her bills."

Instead, Aucion paid $10,000 to bond out of jail. She was arrested Friday and charged with Theft over $500.
