PORT ALLEN-- West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Deputy Anthony Guidry is facing a sex charge, after he was arrested Tuesday for carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Sheriff Mike Cazes said Guidry has worked at the West Baton Rouge Jail since 2008, without any problem.

A 911 tip called in last week led investigators to look into the relationship, Cazes said. Cazes would not elaborate on how the minor knew Guidry, where the relationship happened or how many times.

"That's for the courts," Cazes said.

Guidry was booked and released with no bond Tuesday. He resigned from his position.

The District Attorney's Office is looking into the case. Their investigation will be complete in a few days, when they will release more details.
