BATON ROUGE- Sheriff's detectives arrested three people in separate burglary cases around the parish.

Detectives arrested Antoine Johnson, 46, Derrick Bailey, 33, and Clifton Smith, 28, charging each with burglary.

Investigators say Johnson burglarized Grady Crawford Construction stealing tools, Smith broke into cars, and Bailey was caught in the middle of a burglary on Raleigh Drive.

Now the Sheriff wants people who have been victims of burglary to step forward so they can return the stolen items.

"Some people, unfortunately, when you have a theft or burglary, and they don't even ever report it, because they get to the point, where they say there's nothing you can do, you're not going to catch this person, well certainly there's nothing you we can do if we're not aware of it," said Sheriff Sid Gautreaux.

The Sheriff wants people who have had things stolen to contact detectives at 225-389-5178.
