HARVEY (WWLTV) - Authorities have arrested two people who investigators say lured a Slidell man on a date intending to rob him.

Dana Lemar and Terrance Calloway were arrested in connection with the shooting death of Coraryle Robert. Investigators believe Lemar set up a date with Robert with intent to rob him, with Calloway's help.

Authorities believe Robert was shot and killed in Harvey, after Lemar set up a meeting on Facebook.

Robert's family reported him missing Friday. His body was discovered in a Harvey drainage ditch near Boomtown Casino Wednesday morning.

Robert’s car was found burned on cinder blocks, with the wheels and radio stolen. At the time, authorities thought it was just a stolen car or insurance claim.

Sheriff Craig Webre said when Lafourche Parish deputies found out the vehicle was tied to Robert, they went back to the scene to search for evidence. A cup was found near the scene was connected to a convenience store where detectives gathered surveillance footage.

JPSO Sheriff Newell Normand said police believe the two suspects are married, and are trying to determine if they have done crimes like this before.

Houma Police added Calloway has an extensive criminal history, dating back to when he was a juvenile. They include narcotics, weapons and resistance charges.
