Shaw Group helping with crippled nukes

BATON ROUGE- A Louisiana company says it is providing support services for the crippled nuclear power station in Japan.

The Shaw Group Inc., based in Baton Rouge, says it will be helping Toshiba Corp. at the Fukushima Daiichi plant.

Shaw says it will assist Toshiba with remediation and recovery services at the plant. Shaw employees will be working at the plant site - as well as providing analytic help from the United States.

Shaw says it has worked with Toshiba on various projects since 2006.
