Shaw founder sued for using name "Shaw"
BATON ROUGE- The Shaw Group, now part of CB&I since a buyout recently, is suing founder Jim Bernhard and others, accusing them of using the company's name.
Bernhard and the three partners are being sued in an effort to stop them from using the name "Shaw" in two business ventures.
According to court documents obtained by WBRZ News 2, Shaw Capital LLC and Shaw Capital LP were established around the time of the sale.
CB&I bought Shaw for $3 billion.
