Sharper associate, rape suspect turns himself in
NEW ORLEANS - A man accused in two rapes in a case involving former New Orleans Saints player Darren Sharper turned himself into police Friday morning.
26 year old Erik Nunez was booked on two counts of aggravated rape. Both he and Sharper are accused in incidents that took place in September in New Orleans.
Police issued warrants for Sharper and Nunez Thursday. Sharper is in police custody in Los Angeles.
