Share your thoughts on expanding Perkins Road
BATON ROUGE- Perkins Road could be the next big road project here, and residents will get a chance to talk about it this week.
There is a meeting to discuss potential routes on Wednesday at St. George School from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The project would be part of the Green Light program, a project to widen and rework parish streets to improve traffic. Perkins, from Siegen to Pecue, is still in the planning phase.
Engineers expect it to be four lanes eventually.
