"Shake and Bake" meth lab allegedly found in Assumption home

LABADIEVILLE - The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Narcotics Task Force says it uncovered a "shake and bake" meth lab, marijuana and mushrooms at a home on Hwy. 1011 near Labadieville.

Neil J. Templet, age 34, of 186 Highway 1011, Napoleonville, was booked with the creation or operation of a clandestine laboratory and various drug possession charges.

Ryan P. Simoneaux, age 31, of 2765 Highway 308, Labadieville, was also arrested and booked with operation of a clandestine laboratory.

A 6 month pregnant female present at the residence, Cherie Coco Martinez, age 37, of 2765 Highway 308, Labadieville, was issued a misdemeanor summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.
