Sexual battery charged dropped against Air Force officer
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA- Prosecutors in Virginia dropped a sexual battery charge against an Air Force officer who led the branch's sexual assault response unit. His trial was supposed to begin Thursday but the Prosecutor said the sexual battery would be dropped to a generic assault charge which comes with the same punishment. Lt. Colonel Jeffery Krusinski is accused of groping a woman in a parking lot. His lawyer says he appreciates the prosecutors' review of the case and Krusinski will plead not guilty to the assault charge.
