Here is the latest with the severe weather across the Baton Rouge area...

...Tornado Watch in effect until 3 PM...
...Multiple Severe Weather Warnings... 
...Flash Flood Watch in effect until 6 PM for all of Southeast Louisiana... 

The severe squall line of thunderstorms has moved through the Metro Baton Rouge area, but continues to move across Livingston, Acsension, Assumption, St. James, Tangipahoa, and St. Mary Parishes.  Damaging winds to 60 mph with possible tornadoes will any storm will continue into the early afternoon.  

If there are any warnings for your area/Parish, be sure to take shelter in a safe place in an interior room of a sturdy building.  

Rainfall totals will be arond 2 to 4 inches today, so watch out for flash flooding.  Once the severe weather passes your area, we will still have moderate to heavy rain through the afternoon hours.
