Several undrafted Tigers picked up
BATON ROUGE, La. - Several former LSU Tigers who went undrafted in the NFL Draft have been signed to NFL teams to participate in training camp.
Punter Brad Wing and wide receiver Russell Shepard both announced on twitter that they signed with the Philadelphia Eagles following the draft.
Wing joins former LSU punter Donnie Jones on the Eagles roster. The Eagles also selected LSU defensive tackle Bennie Logan in the third round.
Offensive tackle Chris Faulk was picked up by the Cleveland Browns. Faulk will join LSU defensive end Barkevious Mingo in Cleveland who was picked sixth overall in the draft.
Another pair of former Tigers will stick together. Running back Michael Ford and center P.J. Lonergan signed with the Chicago Bears.
Defensive end Chancey Aghayere was picked up by the Seattle Seahawks. Aghayere will join former Tigers Tharold Simon and Spencer Ware who were drafted by the Seahawks.
Tight end Chase Clement signed with the New York Giants.
The Indianapolis Colts signed former LSU offensive lineman Josh Dworaczyk.
According to the Times-Picayune, defensive tackle Josh Downs was invited to tryout for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears.
LSU finished the NFL Draft with nine players drafted and eight undrafted free agent signings.
