Several arrests made in series of Denham Springs burglaries

DENHAM SPRINGS - Authorities have announced multiple arrests in connection to a string of car burglaries in Livingston Parish.

On Friday, deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 11000 block of Pleasant Knoll Drive. Witnesses were able to provide details on the suspects, leading to their arrests.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, four individuals have been arrested for their connection to multiple burglaries of unlocked vehicles in the area, primarily in the Forest Ridge subdivision. The sheriff's office says the suspects specifically traveled to the area to burglarize vehicles.

The following individuals were arrested in connection with the burglaries:

Davyn H. Richard, 20, of Prairieville

>Simple Burglary – nine counts

Alexis K. Sahr, 18, of Gonzales

>Principal to Simple Burglary – nine counts

Christian Hutchcraft, 19, of St. Amant

>Principal to Simple Burglary – nine counts

A juvenile suspect was also arrested on nine counts of simple burglary.

Right now, the sheriff's office says it can tie the four individuals to nine separate cases. More charges are possible.
