Pennsylvania Avenue of White House fame in Washington, D.C. could be renamed to reflect the unhappiness of residents over the city not having a vote in Congress.
Some suggestions: Unconstitutional Avenue, No Vote Street and Statehood Way.
The city has 600,000 residents who have no say in Congress.
No Pennsylvania Avenue Signs would come down, but a ceremonial sign would go under them if a name is chosen.
D.C. Council member Michael A. Brown is behind the push.
