Semi-snarl moving after I-10 West re-opens
BATON ROUGE - Westbound I-10 traffic got off to a creeping start, following an hour-long standstill, caused by a tanker wreck.
The wreck happened Thursday afternoon during rush hour, between Dalrymple Drive and Perkins Road. Traffic was backed up on both I-10 and I-12, which then caused traffic on the near by surface streets.
The temporary lane closure had cars stopped all the way past Bluebonnet on I-10 and back to Essen Lane, on I-12.
There's no word on injuries in connection with the wreck at this time.
