Second man arrested for rape case in Assumption Parish

Authorities in Assumption Parish have arrested a second man in the alleged rape of a woman who is intellectually disabled.

In an interview with detectives, the victim said that Jimmy Westerfield of Napoleonville, forced her to have sex with him, after paying another man money.

The other man, Kenneth Falgoust was arrested on December 28, 2010 and booked with aggravated rape and pandering.

Westerfield has been booked with aggravatedrRape, and has bonded out after posting a $75,000 bond.

Falgoust remains locked up in the Assumption Parish Detention Center. His bond is set at $500,000.
