BATON ROUGE - Police announced a second arrest has been made in the altercation outside a Tigerland bar which landed an LSU football player behind bars.

Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said today police arrested Robert Bayardo, 20, and charged him with second degree battery in connection with the fight on April 27 outside Reggie's Bar.

Investigators originally arrested Jeremy Hill, 20, after they said surveillance video showed him and a second person, now believed to be Bayardo, hitting another man and knocking them unconscious.

Head football coach Les Miles suspended Hill indefinitely from the team after the incident.

Police booked Bayardo into the parish jail.
